On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the executives, faculty members, staff, and students of Rajapruk University gathered for a merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Krom Luang Ratchasarinee Siripatchara Maha Whajra Ratchathida.
The ceremony, held at the main hall of the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne Building in Nonthaburi, proceeded as follows:
Religious Ceremony: Dr. Anawut Choosup, President of Rajapruk University, presided over the event by lighting incense and candles to pay respects to the Buddhist scriptures. Four Buddhist monks performed the funeral chanting (Sadab Pakon), followed by the traditional water-pouring ritual (Kruat Nam) to share the merits. The head monk then led all attendees in a silent mind-cultivation (meditation) session dedicated to the Princess.
Memorial and Tribute: Dr. Anawut led the university community in a tribute ceremony. Dr. Nanthaporn Choosup, Vice President, laid a flower garland and paid respects before the Princess’s portrait, subsequently leading the audience in reading a eulogy. The ceremony concluded with all participants standing in a moment of silence to express their deepest condolences.
