On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, the Faculty of Nursing at Rajapruk University held its traditional Capping and Lamp-Lighting Ceremony for second-year nursing students. Dr. Anawut Choosup, President of the university, honored the event by presiding over the ceremony.
The event, attended by university executives, faculty members, proud parents, and first-year nursing students, featured key symbolic highlights:
The Lamp Transfer: A representative portraying Florence Nightingale passed the professional lamp to student representatives.
The Pledge and Anthem: Student representatives lit their lamps, leading the cohort in singing the Nursing Student Marching Anthem, marking their joyful and proud transition into professional clinical training.
The ceremony took place at the 5th-floor auditorium of the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne Building, Rajapruk University, Nonthaburi.
